SAINIK SCHOOL EAST SIANG

The Right to Information Act was enacted in 2005 with the objectives of making the ‘governance more transparent and accountable, to empower the citizens, to contain corruption, to enhance people’s participation in democratic process thereby Indian Democracy work for the people in a real sense, to keep the citizen better equipped for necessary vigil on the instruments of governance, to make the Government more accountable to the governed’ and the Act is a Master Key to Good Governance and sets out a practical regime of transparency in the working of the public authorities.
An Indian National, who desires to obtain any Information under the Act, shall make a request in writing or through electronic means in Hindi and English or in the Official Language of the area for which no format is prescribed by the competent authority. The application can be made on a plain paper and the Information Seeker is not required to give reasons for seeking Information.
Subject to provisions of above Act, the composition of Sainik School East Siang RTI Cell is as under:

1	First Appellate Authority (FAA)	Commander Praveen Kumar Pola, Principal
2	Central Public Information Officer (CPIO)	Squadron Leader Gaurav Sheron, Administrative Officer
3	Central Assistant Public Information Officer (CAPIO)	Subedar Garaga Satya Sai Krishna (Retd), UDC and Officiating Office Superintendent
4	Authority favouring whom the IPO/DD/BC is to be submitted as fee for seeking information under RTI Act	IPO/DD/BC of Rs. 10/- is to be sent in favour of Principal Sainik School East Siang along with your proof of being a citizen of India
